About Meadow Lane Winery
Meadow Lane Winery is a small family owned winery and vineyard with 10 gold medals and 8 silver medals that was established in 1972 in Placer County, California and is the areas finest boutique vineyards. Situated on 5 acres, we often make just over 1300 cases of delicious wine year after year for our wine club members and winery visitors. Encircled by several award-winning wineries, the beauty of this amazing winery is as captivating as its white wines. Meadow Lane Winery’s extraordinary winemaker, along with historical vineyards, combine to produce wines that really express the soul of this well-known wine region.
Our highly sought after white wines are created only with high-quality grapes from our family run vineyard and made in an organic, balanced manner that is great for the land. We employ winemaking techniques that preserve our wines nuances and highlight the unique qualities of our organic wines. We often harvest our fruit weeks before our neighbors do and often depend on the naturally occurring yeasts from our vineyard for fermentation. We believe that making award winning wines is a full circle process that depends on organic soil, natural winemaking and doing whats right for the environment.
We feel that our winery is the best vineyards you will ever get to visit. Our wines are really amazing and the nice people that work here are really friendly and helpful. Meadow Lane Winery is open almost every day of the year, 7 days a week, making it incredibly convenient to visit almost any time you need your organic wine fix. With 14 to 16 truly amazing wines ready for tasting, you are sure to find a wine you love. In addition to our amazing Pinot Noir, we also offer delicious sandwiches, ice cold beer and a few mixed drinks. We also have a nice sized indoor seating area and four gorgeous outdoor terraces that overlook our vineyard and the beautiful countryside. These are nice locations to consume one of our amazing bottles of red wine.
The Meadow Lane Winery Wine Club
If you sign up for the Meadow Lane Winery wine club, you gain guaranteed access to all Meadow Lane Winery releases, including very limited bottlings (those under 80 bottles produced). Wine of the month club shipments are sent two times a year, depending on the wine club. With our exclusive wine club, you receive two bottles of wine, wine notes, food pairing recommendations and special recipes with each wine club shipment.
As our wine of the month club member, you also get in person wine tastings of regular and library wines with the winemaker himself, 10% off all Meadow Lane Winery wine purchases, preferred access to the winery’s private guest house and special invitations to unique events throughout the year: parties, dinners, harvest helpers, etc.
Wine club billings will be made automatically to your credit card as soon as your shipment goes out the door. We happily accept Visa, Mastercard and the Discover card. The expected cost per shipment varies with the wines we send you but an estimated cost per wine club shipment averages between $45 to $85 over the course of one year. Shipping & handling and sales tax are in addition.
As a wine club member, you are entitled to 15 complimentary tastings for yourself and up to 4 guests. A seated tasting can also be arranged for you and 6 guests by reservation. The only caveat, due to state laws, is that we may only legally ship wines directly to wine club members in some specific states.
